Why I came to UAB ?
I came to UAB to work in Basic Science Research and had a great years of training in the HIV Research Area. During my pharmacy training; I elected to do clinical rotations in other hospital in the Birmingham area. I found out that UAB offered the best practice setting since it is the largest Teaching Hospital in the City. UAB has an inter discipline approach to patient care which gives pharmacists the opportunity to interact with other health care professionals.
One thing I would tell a pharmacist interested in UAB:

Working at UAB Hospital helps me appreciate life. We see a lot of suffering
everyday, but at the end of the day I know our team has had an impact on peoples lives.

the department of pharmacy will provide us with all the necessary technical support needed to better our working environment and make our job very productive
